Bill Mays and Dottie O’Daniel Mays started Call One, Inc. in 1987 out of their modest two-bedroom home to help people do their business better.

Initially Call One, Inc. supported customers by helping them select the right Plantronics, GN Netcom, Unex or ACS headsets for use in their offices, call centers and dispatch centers. Additionally, they provided headset repair services and all available accessories to help customers extend the life of their headsets.

Bill & Dottie believed in the fundamental principle that people do business with people.

Their belief and passion to help people do their business better carried them through three decades that included the 9/11 tragedy, The Great Recession, and multiple hurricane evacuations. Today Call One, Inc. supports many families and, in some cases, multiple generations here on the Space Coast (Brevard County Florida). A very cool part of being headquartered in Cape Canaveral, FL besides proximity to the beaches, are all the awesome rocket launches!!!

Sadly, Bill Mays passed on August 15, 2018. Dottie and their son Stephen Mays now stand at the helm leading the company.

Stephen along with his leadership team, helped Call One, Inc. and sister company Hello Direct navigate the 2020 COVID-19 global pandemic. We were able to very quickly pivot from in-office to work from home in a matter of days using the technology and devices we provide.
